The relative gene expression level of caspase-9 and Bcl2 genes after treatment with P-P, P-P-Cur, and Cur samples in A549 cancer cells. After using IC50 concentrations of P-P-Cur and Cur samples, the increase of 7-fold and 2.5-fold is seen in expression levels of caspase9, respectively. The expression level of Bcl2 is considerably decreased by more than 2-fold after treatment with P-P-Cur, whereas the reverse is true for the P-P sample (rise to 3-fold) which shows biocompatibility of copolymerized sample. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001, ****P < 0.0001
